Couple Test

Couples quiz: How many of your answers can your partner actually guess?

Test My Partner

No sign-up · share anywhere

Your partner says they know you inside out, and this couples quiz is how you find out. The couple test checks that claim in about a minute. You answer 10 questions about yourself as a partner, from your love language to which side of the bed is yours, and send the link. They guess your answers, get a score out of 10 and a verdict that ranges from "do you even know me?" to soulmate.

It is a two-player game, so it suits a new couple who want to see how far they have come, a long-term couple who suspect they have stopped noticing things, and long-distance couples who need something to do together on a video call. Many people swap: you make one, your partner makes one, and the loser owes dinner.

No signup, no download, and the questions are sweet rather than heavy. This is the fun one, not the serious relationship check.

1 Answer 10 questions about yourself
2 Send the link to your partner
3 See their score, then swap roles

What is the couple test and who should play it?

It is a guess-my-answers quiz built from a bank of 20 couple questions: date nights, how you say sorry, who falls asleep first, your dream wedding spot. The person who plays lands in one of three result tiers. Seven or more right answers earns the soulmate badge, four to six is getting there, and three or fewer gets a cheeky question about whether they know you at all.

It is for anyone in a relationship with a sense of humour: couples who have been together three weeks, couples with three kids, couples living in different time zones. It also works as a gift idea on an anniversary, with the quiz as the card.

How does the couple test work for two people?

One of you creates the quiz: enter your name, answer the 10 questions honestly and copy the link. Send it to your partner by WhatsApp, iMessage or whatever you use. They open it, type their name and guess each answer. The score and a verdict appear immediately.

Then switch roles. Your partner makes a quiz about themselves and you take it. Two scoreboards, two scores, and a very clear answer to who has been paying more attention. Play again a few months later and see whether the score has changed.

Which questions are in the couple test?

They are the small things that make up a relationship, not the big talks. A few examples from the bank:

  • What is your love language: words, quality time, gifts, acts of service or touch?
  • Your ideal date night: fancy dinner, a long walk, a concert or Netflix and a blanket?
  • How do you say sorry: a big hug, a food peace offering, a long text or acting like nothing happened?
  • Which side of the bed is yours, or do you claim the whole middle?
  • Who falls asleep first, and who steals the blanket?

Why do couples love sending each other the couple test?

Because it is affectionate competition. A high score is proof that someone listens, and a low score is a harmless tease rather than a real argument. Couples share it on Valentine's Day, on anniversaries, during the boring hours of a long flight and on those weeknights when neither person wants to choose a film. Long-distance couples between the US, the UK, India and the Philippines use it as a mini date night that needs no planning. It is also a go-to at engagement parties and bridal showers, where the two partners each make a quiz and the guests play both to crown who knows the other better.

How do I see my friends' answers?

  1. After you make your quiz, tap “Check Scores 🏆” on your share page. You see every friend's score, and 👁️ shows what they answered.
  2. On that page, copy “Your private scores link” and keep it, for example in your notes. It opens your scores in any app or browser.
  3. Don't open your own friend link and fill it in yourself: that link is for your friends. The site recognises you only in the app where you made the quiz, or through your private link.

Couple test FAQ

Can both partners take the couple test?

Yes, and that is the way most couples play it. One partner creates a quiz and the other guesses, then they swap. Each quiz has its own link and scoreboard, so you end up with two scores to compare over dinner.

What does the soulmate result in the couple test mean?

It is the top tier, given for seven or more correct answers out of 10. It is a playful label, not a prediction about your future together. If you want a dedicated quiz about that question, the soulmate test is a separate self-test about the two of you.

Is the couple test suitable for a new relationship?

Yes, it is actually a good early game. The questions are about everyday preferences rather than deep history, so even a partner of a few weeks can score well if they have been listening. Low scores at the start are normal and make a fun benchmark to beat later.

Can friends also play my couple test?

Anyone with the link can play, and the scoreboard will show every name. Some couples share the link with their friend group to see whether a best friend knows them better than their partner does. The results are usually humbling for somebody.

Does the couple test tell me if my relationship is healthy?

No. This quiz measures how well your partner can guess your answers, nothing more. For a self-check on trust, communication and fairness, use the relationship test, which you take alone and which does not involve sending anything to your partner.

How long does the couple test take?

About a minute to create and a minute to play. There are 10 questions on each side, with short answers and emojis, so you can finish it on the sofa before the next episode starts. Making a second one for revenge takes just as little time.
